1. Insufficient pressure:

When the pressure is insufficient, the pressure applied to the filter plate of the filter press is less than the pressure of the filtered liquid, then the natural filtered liquid will naturally be able to permeate out of the gaps.
2.Deformation or damage of filter plate:
When the edge of the filter plate is damaged, even if it is slightly convex, then even if it is to be formed a filter chamber with a good filter plate, no matter what pressure is applied, cannot form a well sealed filter chamber. We can judge this based on the situation of the leakage point. Due to the damage of the filter plate, the penetration is usually relatively large, and there is even a possibility of spraying.
3. Incorrect placement of filter cloth:
The structure of the filter formed by filter plates and filter cloths that are inserted into each other and subjected to strong pressure. Generally, filter plates are not prone to problems, so the rest is the filter cloth.
The filter cloth plays a key role in forming a seal between the hard filter plates. The wrinkles or defects of the filter cloth can easily cause gaps between the filter plates, then the filtrate is easily to flows out from the gaps.
Look around the filter chamber to see if the cloth is creased, or if the edge of the cloth is broken.
