1、Daily inspection
Connection pipe inspection: regularly check whether each connection pipe of the bag filter is firm, whether there is leakage and damage. This is because leakage will not only lead to liquid loss, but may also affect the filtration effect.
Pressure monitoring: the pressure of the bag filter should be checked regularly. With the increase in the use of time, the filter residue in the cylinder will gradually increase, resulting in a rise in pressure.When the pressure reaches 0.4MPa, you should stop the machine and open the cylinder cover to check the filter slag retained by the filter bag. This is to prevent excessive pressure from damaging the filter bag and other parts of the filter.
Safety Operation: Do not open the top cover of the filter with internal pressure, otherwise the remaining liquid may be sprayed out, resulting in loss of liquid and injury to personnel.
2、Opening cover and inspection
Valve operation: before opening the upper cover of the filter, close the inlet and outlet valves and make sure that the internal pressure is 0. Open the emptying valve and let the remaining liquid be drained out before carrying out the work of opening the cover.
O-type Seal ring inspection: Check whether the O-type seal ring is deformed, scratched or ruptured, if there is any problem, it should be replaced with new parts in time. This is especially important because the quality of the seal ring is directly related to the sealing and safety of the filter.
3、Replacement of filter bag
Replacement steps: Unscrew the cap first, lift the cap and turn it to a certain angle. Take out the old filter bag, and when replacing the new filter bag, make sure that the ring mouth of the filter bag and the collar of the metal inner mesh match, then slowly lower the upper cover and tighten the cap bolts evenly.
Filter bag wetting: For high-efficiency filter bag, it needs to be immersed in the pre-wetting liquid matched with the filtering liquid for a few minutes before use, in order to reduce its surface tension and improve the filtration effect.
4、Monitoring the quality of filtration
Differential pressure monitoring: check the differential pressure regularly, when the differential pressure reaches 0.5-1kg/cm² (0.05-0.1Mpa), the filter bag should be replaced in time to avoid rupture of the filter bag. If the differential pressure drops suddenly, stop filtering immediately and check whether there is any leakage.
5、Pressurized discharge of leftover liquid
Operation procedure: When filtering high-viscosity liquid, compressed air can be fed through the exhaust valve to accelerate the discharge of residual liquid. Close the input valve, open the air inlet valve, check the outlet pressure gauge after the introduction of gas, confirm that the gauge pressure is equal to the compressed air pressure and no liquid outflow, and finally close the air inlet valve.
6、Cleaning and maintenance
Cleaning filter: If you replace the filter liquid type, you need to clean the machine before continuing to use. Cleaning should be soaked in warm water to clean the filter bag to ensure that impurities are fully dissolved.
O-type seal ring maintenance: when using the O-type slot into the seal ring to avoid improper extrusion leading to deformation; when not in use, take out and wipe clean, to avoid residual liquid solidification leading to hardening.
