
1. Filter bag is damaged
Cause of failure:
Filter bag quality problems, such as material does not meet the requirements, poor production process;
The filter liquid contains sharp particulate impurities, which will scratch the filter bag during the filtration process;
When filtering, the flow rate is too large, causing impact on the filter bag;
Improper installation, the filter bag appears twisted, stretched and so on.
The solution:
Select the filter bag with reliable quality and in line with the standard, check the material, specifications and damage of the filter bag before use;
Before filtration, the liquid is pretreated to remove the sharp particles, such as coarse filtration;
According to the filter specifications and liquid properties, reasonable adjustment of filtration flow rate to avoid too fast flow rate;
When installing the filter bag, strictly follow the operating procedures to ensure that the filter bag is installed correctly, without distortion, stretching and other phenomena.
2. The filter bag is blocked
Cause of failure:
The impurity content in the filter liquid is too high, exceeding the carrying capacity of the filter bag;
The filtration time is too long, and the impurities on the surface of the filter bag accumulate too much;
Improper selection of filtration accuracy of filter bag can not meet the filtration requirements.
The solution:
Increase the pretreatment process, such as precipitation, flocculation and other methods, to reduce the content of impurities in the liquid;
Replace the filter bag regularly, and reasonably determine the replacement cycle according to the actual filtration situation;
According to the particle size and nature of the impurities in the liquid, select a filter bag with appropriate filtration accuracy to ensure the filtration effect.
3. Filter housing leaks
Cause of failure:
The sealing parts of the connection between the filter and the pipeline are aging and damaged;
The seal between the upper cover of the filter and the cylinder is not strict, such as the O-ring is improperly installed or damaged;
The filter cartridge has cracks or sand holes.
The solution:
Timely replacement of aging, damaged seals, select reliable quality sealing products to ensure sealing performance;
Check the installation of O-ring, if there is a problem to reinstall or replace;
Check the filter cartridge. If cracks or sand holes are found, repair them by welding or repairing them. Replace the filter cartridge in serious cases.
4. Abnormal Pressure
Cause of failure:
The filter bag is blocked, resulting in increased inlet and outlet pressure difference;
Pressure gauge failure, display data is not accurate;
The pipe is blocked, affecting the flow of liquid.
The air in the pipeline accumulates, forming air resistance, affecting the normal flow of fluid, resulting in unstable flow;
The pressure fluctuation before and after the filter is large, which may be due to the instability of the discharge of upstream equipment or the change of the feed demand of downstream equipment;
The solution:
Check the blockage of the filter bag and clean or replace the filter bag in time.
Calibrate and maintain the pressure gauge regularly, and replace it in time if fault is found;
Check the pipe, clean up the debris and sediment in the pipe, and ensure that the pipe is smooth.
The exhaust valve is arranged at the highest point of the filter to regularly exhaust the air in the pipeline;
Stabilize the pressure before and after the filter, and coordinate with the upstream and downstream equipment to ensure the stability of feeding and discharging, such as increasing the buffer tank, adjusting the operating parameters of the equipment.
